**About the Role**

**This is a Fixed term Role for 2 years until 30/06/27**

The role supports the Manager, Level Crossing Safety and Director Network Safety in meeting DTP’s obligations related to Network Safety committees and working groups, ensuring project safety governance co-ordination & information and network Safety data & reports are provided in a timely manner.

Functions performed by the officer include accurate, timely, consistent and appropriate coordination of committee meetings and/or working groups. The incumbent of this position will also provide support in coordinating and sourcing information required to respond to parliamentary questions, Ministerial requests (including briefings), and Freedom of Information requests.

**Position Outcomes**

In this role, you will ensure high-standard governance practices by organizing committee and working group meetings, developing agendas, and taking minutes. You will effectively engage with others to gather accurate information for various documents, draft high-quality responses to parliamentary and ministerial requests, and maintain accurate records for tracking and process improvement. Responsibilities include keeping level crossing program documents updated, supporting business activities like meeting coordination and procurement, and providing flexible assistance as needed. Additionally, you will ensure all stakeholder communications are informed by current and accurate program materials.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Mandatory**
- Qualifications and/or experience in providing administrative support.
- MS Office suite proficiency

**Desirable**
- Moderate experience in data analytics and/or computer programming.

**Role Specific Requirements**
- Prior experience in managing governance arrangements such as arranging meeting invites, drafting Agenda’s, taking meeting minutes and co-ordinating meeting packs and distribution.
