**The Business**

**The Role**

As an integral part of the Distribution Lines team, you will be part of the installation of overhead Distribution Lines within Network Services.

You will be required to adhere to Genus company procedures and standards as well as client requirements, and be responsible for ensuring safe work practices for yourself and your team members including identifying and reporting hazards and incidents, complying with Genus group's core values and all associated legislative requirements.

**Project Overview**

Working on the Western Power Network pole changes, maintenance and project works.

**Position Requirements**
- Certificate III ESI Distribution Overhead and/or Certificate III EST Transmission Overhead.
- 3+ year minimum experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Work Health & Safety.
- Valid WA Driver’s Licence - “HR” Class (OR if ineligible due to length of license, willing to undertake as soon as 12 months experience on full “C” Class license is completed).
- CPR Certificate and Senior First Aid Certificate.
- WHS Construction Safety Induction White Card.
- High Risk Work Licences: (HRWL), Elevated Working Platform (EWP), Safe Working at Heights.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Willingness and Ability to travel to other depots or worksites to complete project work as required.
- Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and regular drug and alcohol testing

**Desirable Skills/Requirements**
- Perform Pole Top Rescue (PTR) Certificate.
- Controlled Descent Escape (EDD) Certificate.
- Low Voltage Rescue (LVR).
