**About the Role**
In this role, you will provide secretariat and administrative support to ensure the efficient functioning of the Grain Sustainability Framework (GSF). In addition, you will assist in the development and delivery of GrainGrowers’ sustainability and Natural Resource Management (NRM) policy that is likely to affect the Australian grains industry. You will monitor and analyse relevant research, and prepare reports, briefing papers and submissions.

**About You**

Experience or an interest in agriculture or sustainability is essential.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Conduct admin tasks to ensure the efficient functioning of the GSF and related activities.
- Provide secretarial support to the GSF Council eg. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas & take minutes.
- Identify and monitor sustainability & NRM policy issues.
- Support the development and delivery of sustainability & NRM policy.
- Undertake research and analysis on key issues relating to sustainability and NRM policy matters eg. develop papers, briefings & reports.
- Provide timely submissions to the Government on sustainability & NRM policy matters.
- Understand key concepts and communicate clearly to key stakeholders.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience working in the agriculture or sustainability industry.
- Experience in a project-related role, or industry analysis, research, or policy admin.
- Tertiary qualification in agriculture, business, or public policy-related discipline.
- Research, analysis, critical thinking, and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management and prioritisation.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong work ethic, initiative, and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to travel domestically as and when required.
- Strong administrative skills, eg. Microsoft Suite
