- As Revenue Assurance Manager, you will be a part of the Revenue Assurance Team, responsible for maximising Pathology revenue and ensuring that it is billed in accordance with contractual agreements and compliant with Commonwealth legislation for Medicare and Health Fund billing.- You will be using your advanced experience to manage the Revenue Assurance Specialist as well as lead documentation.- You will be reporting to the Head of Revenue Assurance and will work closely with Commercial, Operational, Clinical, Digital, IT, Data & Analytics and Finance teams to improve billing solution catered to the needs of our end customers while maximising Pathology’s revenue.- You will be communicating with people at all levels including corporate, public hospitals and labs.**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Identify and perform both high volume and complex/high risk billing scenarios to ensure revenue is maximised within relevant guidelines.
- Lead, review and respond to external audits from Medicare, Private Health Insurers, and other payor groups.
- Report on audit findings and correct revenue issues arising from audit findings.
- Monitor Xtend, Suspend and claiming errors for revenue leakage and identify trends. Create solutions.
- Identify opportunities for revenue standardisation across different billing systems.
- Support the design, build and implementation on the new billing module within Healius Pathology’s LIS transformation project.
- Work with Data & Analytics and IT teams to improve existing and develop new reports to facilitate improved revenue assurance work.
- Manage a small, high performing team.
- Create and maintain billing reference documentation for use by departments such as Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Collections and Master Data. Provide ongoing training as required.
