Our client requires the continued support of an Environment Manager, who will be responsible for the end to end environment components.

**Roles and Responsibilities;**

Communicate test environment availability to project management and quality assurance.
- Develop KPIs to track efficacy of test environment delivery efforts
- Resolve conflicts between teams competing for limited testing resources
- Move test environment activities toward a goal of 100% automation
- Provide estimates for onboarding of new projects to test environments
- Design systems to support continuous delivery and adapt test environment management to support on-demand, self-service automation
- Develop process to track test environments required for QA
- Create short-term plans to deliver environments to support sprint-based development
- Coordinate activities of release engineers to automate the setup and configuration of test environments
- Govern the environment activities and act as an SME for all Strategic delivery environment management activities.
- Monitor and guarantee uptime of test environments
- Provide ongoing support for test environments
- Contribute to the Risks and Issues management framework and ensure that the environmental risks and issues are fairly treated and managed.

**Deliverables;**
- E2E Environment mapping to show how all components are within each environment
- Build environment requirements for each stream with in the Strategic delivery programme.
- Build environment management strategy to accommodate request of multiple streams to do build, test and deploy into different phases.
- Able to draw diagrams in Visio to represent connectivity of different components required for environments

**Skills requires;**
- Understanding of test environments for both isolated subsystems and end-to-end environments are configured using a mixture of cloud-based infrastructure and bare metal systems by a team responsible for release automation and configuration management
- Able to work with test managers and interact with project managers, operations professionals, and senior technical engineering managers to sequence projects for testing on a limited number of testing environments
- Ability to understand modern approaches to deployment automation on both cloud-based infrastructure and bare-metal servers and work closely with release managers and release engineers to track the availability of limited testing resources
