**About the role**

City of Parramatta has an exciting opportunity for a Community Care Manager to join the team on a temporary Full Time basis (35 hour per week - parental leave cover). You will lead a multi-disciplinary direct service provision team delivering person-centred services to older people and people with a disability.

The position manages a number of large external grants in the Commonwealth Home Support Program as well significant Council investment in improving the wellbeing and social connection of vulnerable members of the community.

The service areas of the Community Care team include:

- Parramatta Food Services, delivering meals on wheels and social meal programs through staff and volunteers
- NDIS support coordination
- Social inclusion programs
- Subsidised lawn mowing
- Volunteer programs

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will have a strong aptitude and experience in business planning, service improvement and communication. You are capable of managing service delivery teams to achieve corporate strategic goals (both financial and social), and the management of Government funded programs, specifically, managing change in funding requirements. This role will see you showcasing a sophisticated understanding of the practice philosophies of person-centred approach and social role valorisation.
- A tertiary qualification in social sciences or extensive experience in a similar role is essential

**What’s on offer**

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $152,664.83 to $169,233.08 (inclusive of 10.5% superannuation)
