**About the role**
The purpose of this role is to provide key insights to support the business to determine strategic talent initiatives and ensure we have the right people with the right skills in the right roles at the right time.

The role will be responsible for supporting the business to solve strategic problems and make data-led decisions on workforce diversity, succession, mobility and acquisition. Partner with the business on any relevant retention and development insights.

You will involve gathering data, developing report rhythms and leveraging analytics across the talent cycle to inform workforce planning strategies and identifying gaps, trends and improvement opportunities.

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have past experience and proven success gathering and analysing workforce data, with good presentation and communication skills to prepare detailed reports with documentation.
- Analytical & modelling skills, with experience in linking data to business problems with experience in SQL and Tableau with Python being desired
- Understanding of workforce planning management methodologies, systems and processes, ideally in a retail environment
- Must be comfortable challenging the norm and accepted thinking to improve effectiveness.
- Results-oriented and demonstrates a high level of ownership and accountability in delivering outcomes.
- A strong collaborative style with ability to gain and hold the trust of varying levels of stakeholders
- Able to articulate ideas and think laterally to overcome obstacles and solve problems.
- Prior experience in managing external recruitment partners to deliver work packages.
