Corrections Victoria Learning & Development are seeking an experienced leadership facilitator to join our team.

About the Business Unit
The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria.
The People, Safety and Culture business unit provides a range of services supporting our people and workplaces. It is responsible for human resources, payroll, recruitment, occupational health and safety, industrial relations, workforce planning and employment regulations. The business unit provides an efficient working environment for staff through the delivery of a range of support functions including accommodation, fleet, an ePMO and maintenance of the Project Management Excellence Framework.

About the Role
The L&D Consultant - Leadership will operate as part of the Corrections Victoria Learning & Development Team and work closely with prison Staff Development Managers (SDMs), Security and Emergency Services Group (SESG) and the DOJ Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Corrections Victoria Programs Area.
The position requires experience in developing training resources and delivery techniques within the context of a correctional environment, and will be required to manage the update and customisation of training materials for prison staff in relation to leadership training.

**Some of your duties may include**:

- Analyse, negotiate and manage complex learning and development initiatives and change management processes in operational settings.
- Scope, plan, manage and implement learning and development projects for Corrections Victoria (CV), including projects to develop materials and resources that support the delivery of correctional services qualifications.
- Provide authoritative, strategic and innovative advice to senior managers on learning and development strategies and initiatives.
- Develop strategies and resources for learning and development initiatives, processes and programs across CV.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, peers and senior managers both within and external to CV.
- Contribute to the strategic, business and work program planning of Learning and Development using collaborative team processes and approaches.

About You
- Experience in the development of training and assessment materials is preferred.
- Possession of a current driver's licence Detail the key 1 to 4 skills and experience required for the role
- Demonstrates commitment to the objectives of the work area and the organisation and shows considerable drive and effort in achieving work targets.
- Demonstrates awareness of own knowledge, skills and experience and performs confidently in all tasks, quickly establishing trust and respect with others.

- Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
