**The Position**
Position Title: 2023 Accredited (BPT) General Medicine Registrar
Classification: HM25 - HM30
Salary per hour (exc. super): as per award
Hours per fortnight: 86
Employment Status: 2 x 6 months commencing February 2023 and August 2023 or 1 x 12 months position commencing February 2023

**Role Description**
We are seeking a doctor keen on a career in Medicine who is intent on taking the College examinations. This role will involve working with rotating registrars from the Austin Hospital in Melbourne. Teaching, both in formal settings, and on ward rounds and clinics is integral to the Bendigo approach. The successful applicant will be responsible for the care of about 15-20 acute medical patients with daily consultant input. Junior staff to assist will include 2 HMOs on a roster. There will be mínimal night shifts rostered but there are weekend ward and MET duties as per roster with the other Medical Registrars.
