**Your new role**:
This is a Band 7 classified role, remuneration $104,630.20 - $117,345.47 pro-rata (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

Some key objectives of the Eastern Affordable Housing Alliance are to: Represent the affordable housing needs and priorities of the region; Share knowledge and build capacity within the Alliance to enable effective advocacy actions for improved housing affordability; Advocate for improvements in housing affordability that generally have region-wide benefits and Advocate to State and Federal governments and other relevant bodies for increases in affordable housing supply, finance and housing subsidies.

**What you will need to thrive**:
The key selection criteria for this role are:

- Demonstrated commitment to displaying the organisation’s and Alliance’s values.
- An understanding of, or experience in, a Local Government setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to network and build relationships.
- Extensive understanding of homelessness and social and affordable housing issues and policies within a local, Victorian and Australian context with well-developed conceptual and analytical thinking ability.
- Excellence in social media marketing and communications.
- Experience providing support and advice to high-level working groups/committees operating in a political setting.
- Report writing skills and the ability to collate, collect, analyse complex information and synthesise into concise and accurate documents for public release.
- Highly developed project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines within budgetary requirements.
