**About the role**

McConnell Dowell is currently seeking expressions of interest for a Brisbane based, Planning Manager position to assist the QLD office. This role will provide project critical planning support to Projects and tenders across the QLD region.
- As the Planning Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of planning, scheduling, progress measurement, on Queensland Projects.
- Enhance Project reporting and consistency in tender planning
- Manage the allocation of competent planning and control resources across projects.
- Assist the commercial/contract team in preparing, documenting and analysing all commercial aspects of the project.
- Provide advice on actions to be taken to prevent or improve undesirable trends in project progress and cost.

**About you**
- Holds a relevant tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline
- Proven ability to understand and administer contracts.
- Resourceful, well organised, highly dependable, efficient and detail orientated.
- Demonstrable understanding of design engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning methodologies.
- Working knowledge of internal cost management processes.
