**The Opportunity**
As the Digital Analytics & Implementation Lead you will be responsible for creating a world-class digital analytics capability. Reporting into the General Manager of Business Operations and Strategy, your role will be key to supporting product with analysis and insights to inform our strategic roadmap.
Your role will be a mixture of designing the right solution, building this solution, and supporting the data users across the business to self-serve from our digital analytics platform (Amplitude) working closely with an external agency for tagging implementation.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Establish reporting within Amplitude that enables Product Owners, CX and Marketing to understand how members are interacting with the OnePass Website and Mobile App. Note Amplitude experience is highly favoured but not a mandatory requirement.
- Work with your counterparts across the Wesfarmers organisation to design and implement measurement strategies for cross website goals.
- Work with data users across the business to a) answer ad-hoc queries, and b) train them to use and appreciate the self-service capabilities of the digital analytics solution.
- Work with the CX and Marketing teams to design audiences for on-site and off-site experiments and ongoing communications strategies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide guidance where necessary, promotion open and honest communication between the teams.
- Contributing to the evolution of data design standards, guidelines, frameworks, and practices
- Raise the data literacy across the stakeholder groups and ensure that people feel empowered to leverage data as a strategic tool for their function.
- Collaborate with internal data and analytics community to strive for greater functionality in the Digital Ecosystem’s data system.
- Evaluate site performance with ongoing analysis of web data
- Managing the reporting and trends of key initiatives.
**What you'll bring to the table**
- Strong experience in Web and/or App analytics tooling e.g. Amplitude, Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- Experience designing data layer and solution design for Tag Manager e.g. TealiumIQ, Google Tag Manager or Adobe Launch
- Strong SQL skills
- A strong interest and capability to interpret complex data and derive insights and summarise findings.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and effectively build relationships with a broad and diverse stakeholder group.
- Can present comfortably to senior stakeholders in a concise, engaging in a knowledgeable way.
- Ability to solve problems, manage risks, and proactively remove blockers with consideration to customer and business impact.
- Knowledge in A/B testing
