Canva’s Legal team has a mission to protect and serve Canva and its key stakeholders; that is protecting Canva from external pressures and risks whilst balancing the need to best serve our teams.

As part of this team you will have the opportunity to gain experience working at the headquarters of one of the world’s fastest growing tech companies; your work will impact millions of Canva’s global users.

We are looking for talented individuals with skills across the below Legal specialities:
Legal Counsel
- Provide high quality In-House Legal Advice for all aspects of the Group or Supergroup that you’re partnering with
- Develop best practice guides and materials/training to support the case management of risk
- Identify and advise on potential and actual legal risks and exposures and recommend appropriate action to minimise risk
- Provide focused and commercially sound legal advice on commercial disputes to management.
- Keep current on relevant industry trends, laws, regulations

Paralegal
- Supporting the business to complete Privacy Impact Assessments and Transfer Impact Assessments
- Owning the implementation of new systems and championing their roll out
- Organising internal events and preparing visually appealing presentations for legal training and education events
- Supporting and continuously improving matter, contract and knowledge management operations within the team
- Building relationships with key stakeholders to drive cross-functional alignment within the wider business
- Helping to prepare the internal communications and the Product and Privacy area of the intranet with useful resources such as talking presentations, blogs, policies, standards, playbooks, frequently asked questions and other information

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
