**About the role**

As a Ranger, you will undertake on-ground environmental management by working with a variety of stakeholders including Friends Groups, local Councils and Melbourne Water to continue rewilding the Yarra River. You will also undertake pest plant management and revegetation of riparian areas on Herring Island and several other land parcels which are all located on the Yarra River.

**We're looking for someone with**:
Environmental management experience to deliver land management practices, pest plant and revegetation programs and stakeholder engagement.
- Certificate or Diploma in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a similar field
- A Coxswains Grade 1 or Grade 2 Near Coastal Certificate of Competency (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in land management techniques
