Holmesglen Private Hospital is looking for Health Information Service Officer / Coding Assistant to join the clerical team. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, is able to work as a team as well as independently. Have great time management and organisational skills.

Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. - including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services

**As a Health Information Services Officer / Coding Assistant your responsibilities will include**:
- Strong administration skills
Follow up with providers for any documentation that is insufficient or unclear
Communicate with healthcare professionals regarding documentation
Track records for missing information
File and retrieve records

**Essential Criteria**:
- Medical administration or medical reception experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Strong attention to detail
Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
