**About Nutrition and Dietetics**

Our department provides comprehensive nutrition services to hospital inpatients and outpatients, professional colleagues, and the broader community. Our dietitians have specialist knowledge of nutrition throughout all stages of the life cycle, and provide expert care on a range of issues including fertility and pregnancy, neonatal nutrition, weight and eating concerns, diabetes, oncology, pelvic floor and older women’s health.

**About the role**

As a Women’s Health dietitian you will be involved in the care of women from pre conception to conception, pregnancy and beyond as well as an ever expanding range of women’s health conditions that are influenced by diet and nutrition. You will work with a small but dynamic team of likeminded dietitians who will be a great support.

A regular day will see you:

- Provide comprehensive nutritional care across your allocated clinical workload, including assessment, planning and implementation, monitoring and follow-up
- Advocate for the nutritional care of women amongst your multidisciplinary team.
- Share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues, students and other health professionals.
- Monitor clinical activity and service delivery to ensure the service is in line with evidence-based practice and meets the needs of our patients
- Identify and be involved in quality improvement activities.

**About you**

You will be someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who enjoys working as part of a supportive, collaborative team committed to excellence in patient care.

You’ll bring with you:

- A Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent tertiary qualification, with eligibility for membership of Dietitian’s Australia and status as an Accredited Practice Dietitian (APD)
- A minimum of two years’ clinical experience in a hospital setting
- A passion for women’s health and experience that shows an understanding of the specific needs of this patient population
- A flexible approach to your work with a willingness to go the extra mile when necessary.
