**About The Role**

To ensure that injured team members have a positive rehabilitation experience. The National Care & Wellbeing Manager coaches leaders to provide the best possible care and support to injured team members and customers.

**What You’ll be Doing**:

- National Safety Strategy_
- Support the monitoring and review of the National Safety Strategy
- Support the strategic and operational framework with the Endeavour Group brands, in consultation with the operational teams
- Supporting the strategy of reducing the impact of injury to a team member in the workplace through robust rehabilitation plans
- Oversee the Return To Work (RTW) cases and CARE Principles_
- Act as an internal consultant providing technical advice on RTW
- Oversee claims and have the ability to make decisions on costs associated with their recovery
- Support team access early intervention and monitor rehabilitation
- Coaching and Training teams on the Rehabilitation, RTW Policy, S&H vision and how to provide the best care to injured team members / customers
- Support team with access to Endeavour Group Wellbeing and Support Programs Converge and Mindstar
- Work with external providers in relation to Workers Compensation & Public Liability
- Work within the Workers Compensation Legislative Requirements and understand how changes impact our business / implement changes to meet business requirements
- Minimise financial impact to the business with workers compensation and public liability
- Prepare information for Legal to minimise impact of Statutory claims and work injury damages / common law claims
- Develop strong relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor Safety KPI Reporting - PULSE & Tableau
- Preparation of self insurance audits and implementing corrective actions
- Work closely with the State Care & Safety Managers in injury prevention and safe working systems
- Liaise with the Business Culture and People team (ER support team) on team members unable to meet the inherent requirements of their role
- Support operation team in identifying risk and support for Team members that have reported a non work related injury that is impacting their ability to complete the inherent requirements of their role. This may include physical and psychological injuries
- Gathering information for independent factual investigation on claim eligibility, supporting insurer requests
- Liaise with worksafe investigators on regulatory claim checks. Support the business to close out any actions or notices
- Liaise with vocational support services when engaging their service of team unable to return to their substantive role

**A Bit About You**
- Qualification in Workplace Health and Safety - minimum Certificate IV
- Qualifications in Return to Work - Return to Work Coordinator
- Current valid drivers licence
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to Care & Safety
- Knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act,Regulations and Codes of Practice
- Knowledge of Return to Work / Recovery legislation
- Ability to identify Safety issues and prepare a comprehensive plan to achieve goals and objectives
- Ability to work with teams to develop safety performance and improvement strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively with both strong oral and written skills
- Strong focus on strategic planning
- Ability to facilitate training sessions to groups
- Ability to develop plans based on data analysis and assist in the implementation to achieve objectives
- Ability to engage others
- Desires to working in an environment of change
- Ability to coach and provide feedback in driving high-performance team
- Demonstrate and act as an advocate of the
