What you’ll be doing

Temporary opportunity to join a reputable company within the energy and utilities industry based in Melbourne’s inner city.

Working full time hours on an initial 6 month contract, the Specialist will be responsible for the creation and deployment of a robust competency framework, Training Needs Analysis process and templates for the Retail Markets Division, starting with the front-line workforce.

The Specialist will establish the roadmap for introducing a competency framework to support the implementation of the new Telephony system.

Key Responsibilities- Assist in building a Capability Builder framework model.Build the appropriate framework to leverage the new Telephony system for the front-line workforce.
- Create a training needs analysis process and toolkit.
- Conduct a training needs analysis to support the development and implementation of programs and content to ensure our teams are trained, developed, and equipped with the capabilities and competencies to operate effectively and compliantly in the Energy Retail landscape.
- Build a comprehensive competency-based framework for baseline and future roles.
- Assess the effectiveness of existing training programs, recommend, and implement improvements to enhance learning outcomes to better support the business.
- Work collaboratively with the Training and Development team to improve processes & methodologies
- Ability to challenge and drive thinking in new directions
- Create a sophisticated training dashboard
- Review and analyse ways of working, investigating and articulate shortfalls and highlight future opportunities for continuous improvement

Selection Criteria- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or other relevant educational qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Advance proficiency and adaptability in working with technology on a variety of platforms
- Extensive experience in a contact centre environment
- Delivery of objectives within a fast paced and high dynamic environment.
- Experience in managing and implementing change
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strategic thinking with a result driven attitude
