Two newly created P&C Advisor positions have become available at AGL as part of the P&C operational team. These roles will be supporting a significant renewables project and the HSE portfolio for AGL. As a HR generalist, you will work closely with P&C Business Partners and AGL leaders across the business to deliver HR services across the employee life cycle. You will Partner with our Renewables and HSE teams to implement and embed excellent people practices and influence a positive culture for future growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide P&C support in the effective delivery of core people processes that occur across the year including: Goals and Objective setting, Talent sessions, Performance Review Calibration sessions, Engagement action planning and Remuneration Review
- Support and coach frontline leaders to build knowledge and capability around core P&C processes and practices
- Support the governance of people data through actioning Workday notifications
- Preparation/production and delivery of operational people-related reporting.
- Identifying trends and opportunities for process improvement that drives efficiencies and excellent data quality outcomes
About You
You are an outcome focused and highly organised professional who has experience providing HR support and advice. You will have experience working collaboratively with other internal teams (such as Digital, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and Procurement) and be a real self-starter and be able to take initiative.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Experience in a HR advisor/support role
- Experience working in blue collar/HSE/heavy industry highly regarded
- Strong sense of confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Able to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships, liaising with employees from all levels of the business
- High level of business acumen and awareness and understanding of business drivers and priorities
- Able to manage and deliver projects and assignments with quality and on time
- Experience working with a HRIS and MS Office suite of products
- Diploma or undergraduate degree (or working towards) desirable
