Position Overview:
As a Key Account Manager at Xplorate, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our most strategic international clients. This role requires a deep understanding of each client's unique needs and the ability to develop tailored strategies to maximise mutual value. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will work closely with our COO and CEO to ensure the success and growth of these key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement long-term strategies to deliver significant value to Xplorate’s key customers, ensuring their unique needs and objectives are met or exceeded.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at key clients. Act as the primary point of contact for all account-related matters.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the Commercial Director, COO, and CEO to align company resources and strategies with the needs and objectives of these key accounts.
- Value Maximisation: Identify and capitalise on opportunities to grow revenue and enhance client satisfaction. Ensure that our services and solutions consistently add value to our clients' operations.
- Account Planning: Develop detailed account plans for each key client, outlining objectives, strategies, and action plans to achieve mutually beneficial business goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of each key account, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Market Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise, ensuring prompt and effective solutions to maintain client satisfaction.

Key Qualifications:

- Experience: Proven experience in key account management or related field, preferably within the Energy sector.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Skills:

- Expert communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with C-suite executives.
- Strong strategic perspective and the ability to develop long-term plans that align with client and company goals, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record of closing deals that benefit both parties.
- Market expertise and the ability to understand and anticipate client needs.
- Leadership skills and the ability to inspire and coordinate internal teams to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Relationship-savvy with a talent for building and maintaining trust with key stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business environments and client needs, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

Travel Requirements:

- This position is based in Perth, Western Australia, however, is a global remit. Extensive travel will be required throughout Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and North America.
