My client is a leading design and construct firm renowned for their innovative and human-centered approach to creating transformative workplace environments. With a strong commitment to design excellence and client satisfaction, my client is seeking a dedicated Associate Interior Designer who excels in project management, team leadership, and holds a proficiency in ArchiCAD or Revit.

As an **Associate Interior Designer**, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing workplace interior design projects from concept to completion. Your proficiency in ArchiCAD or Revit will be essential in translating design concepts into accurate and detailed documentation and full project completion. With experience in successfully leading projects, managing teams, and reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure the seamless execution of projects while maintaining the highest design standards.

**In the role as an Associate Interior Designer, your responsibilities will be as followed**:

- Independently lead and manage interior design projects, overseeing all phases including conceptualization, design development, documentation, and project coordination.
- Utilise your expertise in ArchiCAD or Revit to create detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and other project documentation with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve project objectives.
- Regularly communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to workplace design, architecture, and project management.
- Contribute to business development efforts by participating in client meetings, proposal creation, and building and nurturing client relationships.
- Ensure projects are executed within established timelines and budgets, proactively identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.
- Uphold a commitment to design excellence, sustainability, and user-centred design principles throughout all projects.

**In the role as an Associate Interior Designer, we require you to have the following qualifications**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in interior design, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing workplace interior design projects.
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD or Revit, with a strong ability to create detailed drawings and documentation.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in managing project budgets, timelines, and teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proven ability to independently lead projects and make informed decisions while reporting into senior leadership.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all project deliverables.
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, sustainability principles, and workplace design best practices.
- A passion for staying updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and design innovations.
- Current local experience in Australia within an Associate or Senior Designer role
- Full working rights in Australia - Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is essential
