In 2023, we are establishing a new business within Coles Group responsible for supplying products to business customers. We have signed our first major customer - the current Coles Express business, which we have announced the sale of to our strategic partner Viva Energy and are preparing for launch. As a result, we seek to employ an experienced Account Business Partner to focus on supporting our key customer by delivering a great customer experience in this transition. In the future, the role will also extend to identifying opportunities for growth with existing customers as well as new customers.
Joining this new business will be an opportunity for you to step up and enhance your career pathway. You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering the team’s aspirations to be a leading business supplier of grocery, convenience, and supply chain services.

**About the role**:
As a key member of this new team, you will work closely with the Wholesale Range Manager and perform commercial analysis of our existing customer to identify and action improvement opportunities especially regarding new product development, range management, seasonal lines etc. Your role will form an integral part of this new business, helping us deliver a seamless transition for the Express business, and then helping to shape and deliver the long-term growth plans.

You’ll also:

- Support the Strategic relationship management of the relationship with Viva for supply to their convenience sites (formerly Coles Express)
- Identify new profitable customer prospects, with end-to-end management of the sales process
- Be the key point of contact to support customers, and provide after sales service to key customers
- Identify and explore issues, considering and weighing up the impact of options on the business, customers and suppliers before acting

**About you and your skills**:
As an experience professional with a proven track record of delighting customers, understanding their requirements and developing solutions that meet all stakeholders needs, you are likely to have had experience in commercial analysis, business development and / or sales. You will definitely have a reputation for outstanding customer relationships and building long-term value for the businesses you have represented.

You’ll also have:

- Experience representing consumer products (FMCG) into multiple industries
- The ability to develop and maintain strong productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Proven track record of developing new business, managing key accounts and achieving growth targets
- Confidence in presenting to external stakeholders at varying levels
- Strong problem solving skills and capable of demonstrating initiative to resole issues and know when to escalate
