**State Government **client is seeking an experienced
**Project Support Officer** to join their
**Nerang** team at the
**AO3** level.

**ABOUT THE JOB**:
In the role of Project Support Officer, you will utilise a broad range of computer software programs and information management systems and databases to provide high level support services to project managers and team members in the Project Team.

You will also provide administrative and project support to enhance the timely and effective delivery of project/s, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies and procedures

**DUTIES**:

- Providing high level administrative support to project managers and team members, including coordinating team meetings, taking and distributing minutes, preparing documents and reports, establishing and maintaining spreadsheets and registers and providing timely information, updates and presentations as required.
- Project support for financial approval documentation, contract administration systems and procurement related activities. Including preparation of procurement documentation, liaising with external parties and assisting with tender processes in alignment with the departmental procurement business and governance framework.
- Ensuring infrastructure project documentation is accurately compiled, tracked and recorded, and follows up to ensure timely delivery and approvals within set timeframes.
- Provide administrative support to various Project Managers to ensure tasks are completed within specified deadlines.
- Ensure operational practices and standards of service and performance comply with departmental and regional policies, legislation (incl. WH&S), and governance obligations.

The role is based in Nerang and travel to Eight Mile Plains and Tallebudgera will be required approx. 3 days per week depending on project requirements. (A departmental vehicle will be available)
