Community Kinders Plus (CKP) is a Place Based, Not for Profit Early Years Manager which began operation in 2012. CKP manages 24 kindergartens across Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula. **Description**
- **About the role** The key responsibilities and duties for the role include (but not limited to):

- End-to-end processing of fortnightly pay run for approx. 140 employees accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner in accordance with instructions, agreed expectations and best practice
- Performing full function payroll tasks including new starter processing, processing payroll adjustments, input of fortnightly time sheets into the ADP interface, terminations, maintenance of long service leave, answering payroll enquiries and employee file updating and maintenance.
- You will be expected to provide effective communication, advice and assistance to internal and external stakeholders along with developing and maintaining quality relationships.

**About You** You are a talented individual with high level technical payroll expertise and an eye for detail, coupled with excellent customer service skills. You will thrive in a busy environment and will enjoy the challenge of working in an autonomous role, proactively and as part of a supportive team. You will have exceptional people skills and will work to quickly build positive relationships with staff and managers across CKP. In short, we are looking for that unique someone who loves data and the transactional nature of work, but is still very much a people person who thrives on solving problems, collaborating on solutions and empowering others to achieve the end result.
- **Selection Criteria**
- Three years’ experience in a standalone payroll role with full function knowledge and/or substantial end-to-end payroll experience in a medium-large organisation - experience in the early childhood education sector is highly regarded.
- Experience payroll software - use of ADP is highly regarded.
- Working knowledge of Australian employment and payroll legislation.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills and be comfortable with the strict deadlines associated with a fortnightly payroll.
- Be highly skilled in using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and data inputting with high levels of accuracy.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confidentiality, sensitivity, and integrity across all aspects of the role.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and comfortable working in a changing and fast paced working environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with initiative & flexibility, as well as cooperatively as part of a team and manage own workload.
