**Your role**

The Customer Service & Business Improvement (CSBI) branch sits within Homes NSW Housing Services.

CSBI’s main focus areas are driving innovation and continuous improvement to our service systems; supporting and enhancing a suite of existing digital platforms that service the business, customers and the broader community; monitoring and driving improvements to business performance, customer service and communications; and growing the capability of the Housing workforce through an extensive professional development program.

**What you’ll do**

This Project Officer role undertakes project management and support activities that contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects across CSBI’s remit, with a particular focus on the digital services and business improvement areas.

**Desirable Requirements**
- Knowledge of DCJ Housing systems (HOMES) and Housing processes
- Experience in working in Access & Demand and Tenancy teams
- Project management experience
- Project management qualifications, such as Prince 2, Agile or be willing to undertake skills training to achieve these qualifications

**Key accountabilities**
- Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes
- Communicate with key stakeholders including the coordination of working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
- Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning
- Contribute to the design, implementation and coordination of projects to deliver effective business outcomes and improve the experience of clients who access and receive services from DCJ.
