**Why Your Role Matters**:
As the Digital Communications Officer, you will provide high level support for Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing’s (CHeBA) internal and digital communication strategies and will be responsible for managing communications channels. This will include the CHeBA website, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube accounts, production of CHeBA templates including design of logos and marketing collateral, production of promotional videos and design of both hard copy and digital newsletters.

In this role, you will assist with the development, coordination and implementation of strategic communications plans and provide support and advice to researchers and project teams. As required, you will support key communications activities led by the Communications and Projects Officer including uploading of press releases, production of the Annual Report and collateral and slides for internal and external events.

The role of Digital Communications Officer reports to the Communications and Project Officer and has no direct reports.

**Who You Are**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification or experience in online communications, designing, developing, reviewing, and updating marketing and fundraising content including websites, e-marketing and social media campaigns and hard-copy collateral.
- Previous experience in video production, uploading videos to websites (eg. YouTube) and use of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) and broadcast EDM (eg. gCast) will be highly desirable.
- Demonstrated strong website migration skills, Adobe platform skills, and design skills. Previous experience in developing and managing a research website highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency using a range of web 2.0 technologies and visual and graphic design tools, including Drupal 9, Adobe Experience Manager, InDesign and Photoshop and Sharepoint.
- Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimisation principles and web analytics and demonstrated experience in HTML for content curation and troubleshooting (advanced level desirable).
- Experience in the health and research section (content knowledge) and an interest in these topics highly desirable
- Experience using Google Search Console (formerly Google Webmaster Tools).
- A thorough understanding of technical architecture / integration of systems.
- Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, establish priorities and meet deadlines, while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
