**Your Role**:
You will be Manager in the Central Office team for Integrated Responses and Educational Precincts Initiatives, leading the implementation of a new integrated response support model and managing significant change in the way the department and schools approach school-community partnerships.

**Duties of this role include**:

- providing specialist and contextualised advice regarding an educational precincts support model to decision makers at different levels of the Department of Education;
- building effective working relationships with other government bodies and community organisations, including the provision of public information on programs, activities or services and representing the department at meetings, conferences or seminars;
- formulating strategy and work plans arising from analysis of inter-and intra-organisational supports for educational precincts;
- managing and quality assuring the work of two x three-person precinct-based support teams;
- undertaking specific lines of evidence or policy synthesis with regard to contemporary Australian examples of integrated and place-based approaches to educational service delivery;
- developing Department of Education educational precinct processes, guidelines and support materials;
- supporting stakeholder engagement, gathering and responding to stakeholder feedback and documenting and sharing system learning;
- quality assuring submissions and briefing notes, overseeing responses to Parliamentary Questions, preparing reports to government, preparing ministerial briefing notes and correspondence;
- thinking originally, creatively and exercising significant levels of independent judgement delegated authorities within broad policy guidelines.

The Manager reports to the Director, Integrated Responses and Educational Precincts Initiatives (Teaching, Leadership Rural and Remote, Schools and Student Support, Department of Education).

**Mandatory requirements**:

- This role will be required to work 36.25 hour per week, with all other terms and conditions of employment being in accordance with Administrative officer level 8 of Queensland Public Service Officers and Other Employees Award - State 2015.
