The Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP) is an independent statutory authority responsible for preparing and conducting criminal prosecutions in Victoria on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). Matters prosecuted by the DPP and the OPP involve serious crimes or matters that are of significance to the fair and effective operation of the Victorian criminal justice system. The OPP consists of the Solicitor for Public Prosecutions and a staff of approximately 465 providing legal and corporate support to the DPP, the Chief Crown Prosecutor and Crown Prosecutors in the exercise of their independent roles in the criminal justice system.

**Learning & Development Consultant**

**Full Time, Ongoing**

As a Learning & Development (L&D) Consultant, the successful incumbent would be responsible for the delivery or training services, including Continued Legal Education (CLE) sessions, across the OPP in collaboration with the Legal Training Team as well as organisational development activities.

**About the Role**:

- Work in collaboration with the Legal Education Team to promote the CLE program for OPP staff members' compliance with Legal Services Board Practising Certificate Requirements.
- Coordinate, implement and deliver training programs through consultation with key stakeholders to graduates, legal and non-legal staff members.
- Coordinate staff surveys and reporting, including high level analysis of resulting data.
- The ability to develop and implement professional services training programs, preferably within a legal environment, and use influence and expert analysis in a training environment.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of relevant training methodologies and developing e-learning solutions.
- High level interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with relevant stakeholders, including OPP staff, Crown Prosecutors and members of the public.

**Relevant Knowledge and Expertise**:

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development or a related discipline.
