As we continue to grow, we’re looking for another recruitment star who can hit the ground running. While the role is full time, there is some flexibility around hours. This role will be based out of our Charlestown, Newcastle office.

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to and supporting the People & Capability Manager, your ability to identify the right talent will be integral to Saunders achieving our targeted goals. You will deliver the right people to pre-set deadlines for our many and varied projects across Australia and partner with our Operations and Project Managers to build capability within our existing teams.

While this role will predominantly be recruitment-focused, the opportunity exists to become involved in other HR functions in quieter recruitment phases.

Your responsibilities include:

- Provide monthly recruitment report
- Onboard new employees and ensure their performance review dates are met
- Maintain electronic employee database, Martian Logic
- Field employee and management queries about people-related matters
- Maintain employee records

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Appropriate tertiary qualification and/or relevant recruitment experience
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment
- Familiarity with applicant and employee data management systems. Experience using Martian Logic will be favourably considered
- The desire and ability to build strong working relationships
- A real capacity to maintain confidentiality and exercise judgement and discretion
- Broad knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and standards
- Advanced computer literacy
