**About the role**

Based at Labrador Queensland, you will report to the General Manager of Supply Chain and lead the Milk Supply team and farmer engagement to ensure the reliable supply of raw milk to meet Norco’s business requirements. The key accountabilities include;
- Lead Norco’s Milk Supply team consisting of 5 direct reports.
- Lead strategic and commercial decisions regarding Norco’s milk supply.
- Drive initiatives to improve the efficiency and reliability of Norco’s raw milk supply chain.
- Initiate and implement programs leading to quality, sustainability, productivity, and profitability improvements among Norco’s milk suppliers.
- Develop and implement programs that drive growth in milk supply to benefit suppliers and support Norco’s long-term milk requirements.
- Own and maintain the raw milk forecasting process to support Norco’s supply and business planning.
- Lead Norco’s internal processes concerning milk supply agreements, milk payment, milk testing, and communication and engagement with suppliers.
- Guide the Milk Supply team in providing solutions for milk quality and supply issues.
- Manage the maintenance of Norco’s farm and milk transport quality assurance systems.
- Develop and maintain strong and effective industry relationships.

**What you will bring to the role**
- Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline such as Finance, Commerce, Agricultural Science, Agribusiness.
- Proven experience working as a trusted Commercial Manager within a team environment.
- An ability to relate and build genuine rapport with all stakeholders, including our valued farmers.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytics.
- Experienced in project management and program delivery.
- Conversant with contracts and commercial agreements.
- Inspirational and authentic leadership.
- Ability to drive change and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility to visit Norco farms across QLD and NSW as required.
