**About us**:
PSNMC provides services to support the Public Safety Network (PSN). The PSN includes seven agencies: Queensland Police Service, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, Queensland Ambulance Service, Justice and Attorney General, Queensland Corrective Services, Office of Industrial Relations and Inspector General Emergency Management. The PSNMC is critical to the efficient running of each agency's ICT networks across the broader PSN.
The PSN blends service provider and enterprise network architectures built from a suite of multi-vendor network infrastructure located across Queensland. This provides secure network services to client agencies from "wall-port" to Data Centres on-premises, cloud and beyond.
**The key responsibilities of the role will include**:
- Plan, design and build network solutions that meet customer and network architecture requirements
- Manage small-to-medium network projects, including consultation and negotiation with clients, suppliers, managers and colleagues
- Build and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients and team members
- Follow documented change, release, incident and problem management processes
- Lead and mentor team members, demonstrating the capacity to contribute to building a team focused on high quality service

**Mandatory Qualifications and Conditions**:
This position is required to undertake on-call duties, overtime and work outside normal business hours as required.

- Network Management
- Network protocols such as MPLS, VRF, EIGRP, RIP, OSPF and BGP
- Shared Infrastructure Network Connectivity

- Automation and Orchestration technologies & tools - Ansible, Git, Scripting
- Multi-Tenancy/Service Provider Environments
- Multivendor experience - CISCO, Juniper, HP/H3C
- Network Monitoring and Management
- Ancillary services - Rack, power, cabling, etc
- Carrier Services, Standards, Tariffs
- Network Security technologies
- Wireless and Mobile technologies
