In light of the ongoing growth opportunities in the industry, we are excited to invite a trades assistant to join our bustling manufacturing facility located in Silverwater, NSW. This role offers a positive and rewarding work environment, along with opportunities for career development, training, and a diverse range of experiences through various projects and disciplines.

As a direct report to the Workshop Team Leader, this position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to be part of a highly motivated, well-established, and dedicated team.

**Main Duties**:

- Complying with safety standards at all times
- Manufacturing of Electrical Switchboards
- General housekeeping

**Key Skills and Requirements**:
In addition to the above, it will be an advantage to experience with:

- Busbar bending, punching, and cutting.
- Familiarity with Elsteel or similar modular switchboard systems is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude are needed.
- Experience in a team environment and a commitment to Occupational Health and Safety principles are desirable.
- Capability to lift weights up to 15kg is necessary.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately is required.
- Effective communication skills are essential.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are expected.
- Possession of a current driver’s license (confident manual driver) is an advantage.
- A WHS Industry Induction Card would be considered an advantage_._
