The main site you’ll be working in is based at Wetherill Park and they have sites across Australia and one in NZ.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you’ll be joining a well-established team that have a lot of experience in the business. You’ll be trained and mentored by the previous WHS Advisor who has grown and developed their career in the company.
- Your tasks and duties will include:_
- Working closely with Production, Engineering and Warehouse teams and ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of WHSE Management systems
- Risk and hazard assessments, regular communication with interstate sites, visible leadership on the floor at Wetherill Park
- Being responsible for any incident and accident investigations and ensuring corrective measures are taken
- Conducting WHSE audits for each area of the business - ensuring key stakeholders are engaged and Management kept informed
- Ensuring all new staff are inducted and trained according to company safety program

**About You**
- To be successful in this role you will need:_
- Prior experience and success in a similar role within a manufacturing/production/warehouse environment
- Relevant WHS, Safety qualifications and Return-to-work accreditation
- Friendly and engaging approach, good communication skills - being able to adapt your style depending upon your audience
- Proven ability to communicate and ensure compliance with legislative requirements
- Ability to provide practical advice and guidance in relation to WHS issues, hazards and risks.

**Benefits**
