**Role**:
The Digital Communications Officer will be responsible for managing and enhancing the school's digital presence and communication channels. This includes creating and distributing a fortnightly newsletter, maintaining the school's website and producing an annual Thistlelonian alumni magazine.

Management of the school's social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Facebook Alumni, and LinkedIn, ensuring consistent and engaging content while monitoring and responding to comments is also required in this role.

The Digital Communications Officer will also be required to create and edit videos for social media, using created content or digital assets taken by the school photographers. Overseeing photo management on school screens, print and display photos in high-traffic areas, and assist with poster creation as requested by management or teachers will aso be required.

**Responsibilities**:
**Digital Engagement**:

- Project manage and engage in the day-to-day execution of digital and communication activities, ensuring they align with the College's vision and values.
- Develop a digital plan that aligns with the College's goals and objectives.
- Create and implement a social media plan optimised for each platform.
- Manage, store, and distribute photography and videos.
- Create content, including videos and photos.
- Design digital tiles for social media and the website.
- Create and update photo and video content on the school TV screens at both campuses, as well as the gym TV screen.
- Maintain the College's photo displays in key locations.

**Communication**:

- Manage the College's website, ensuring content is updated regularly.
- Manage and create the fortnightly newsletter.
- Manage and create the annual alumni magazine.
- Increase the College's digital alumni presence.
- Work with the Thistlelonian Coordinator in various ways to promote reunions, alumni events, and alumni connections.
- Provide a range of administrative support as required by the Principal Team.
