- Indicative Total Remuneration: $103,223 to $167,562 p.a. (Pro Rata) MDP2 | 2 Full Time Roles Until, February 2027

As the Ophthalmology Service Registrar, you will be responsible for dealing with acute management of ophthalmic disease. You will be involved in the appropriate triage of primary care referrals, and teaching of paraclinical staff and medical students in the clinic setting. The timetable will also include exposure to consultant led subspecialty clinics and some, but limited, exposure to Ophthalmic surgery. The position requires an ability and willingness to work closely with all medical, nursing, and allied health staff and including NUM Flinders Eye Centre.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- Registerable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
- Clinical experience and competence in the practice of Ophthalmology as expected for level of training
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and nonverbally with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people including colleagues, other professional staff, patients, and their families.
