**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity in SALHN to join the Ophthalmology team. This role will be assessing and initiate therapy for patients with Ophthalmological problems in a range of both general and sub specialty Ophthalmology clinics. This work will be supported by senior colleagues. Duties also include a number of managerial tasks such as (but not exclusively) organisation of registrar rotas, grand rounds etc. There will be a supervised surgical component, by arrangement depending on the department’s requirements.

**About you**:

- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- To be registerable as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues and other professional staff.
- Have completed 4 years of the RANZCO accredited training or equivalent
