- The Salvos Home Care team are seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our friendly and dedicated team in Sydney, based at our Arncliffe office. Salvos Home Care, part of The Salvation Army Aged Care, delivers services to support older people to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.

Everyday tasks can become more difficult as people age. The Salvation Army offers a range of services to support older Australians live independently in their own homes and communities. Our friendly Salvos Home Care team are ready to help consumers at any stage, from advising them on the aged care funding process and various Commonwealth subsidised support options available, to finding the best solution tailored to your individual circumstances.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic person to facilitate the critical administrative functions of our business. This role is at the heart of supporting effective business operations via relevant delivery, support and ongoing maintenance of all client and workforce management tools.

You will be part of a team responsible for rostering and end to end coordination of all contracted and casual hours within the Salvos Home Care portfolio. You will use your excellent planning and organisational skills to make sure that each customer receives the care and support that they expect on time. This involves:

- Allocating staff with the right skills and experience to deliver the best quality care and support to each customer
- Organising staff rosters to minimise changes to the service and travel between customer's homes
- Responding efficiently to day to day changes in the care and support packages

You will regularly deal with queries from customers about their care and support. This requires a sensitive understanding of customer needs and a supportive telephone manner.

ABOUT YOU

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role

- Highly organised, driven and consistently reliable

- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Highly competent using electronic systems
- Flexible, fast and accurate
- Ability to cope under pressure and be adaptable to manage competing priorities
