Fairfield Heights Childcare & Preschool caters to children 0-6 yrs and School aged children 6-12 years. We are licensed to cater 60 children a day, operating from 7am to 6pm.

We are currently undergoing new management and seeking an experienced, creative and passionate Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor to lead a team of Educators. The Nominated Supervisor will be the Responsible Person and fulfil both on and off floor responsibilities working with the Approved Provider. This role will provide the opportunity to work with a growing company and require your assistance to recruit and train new team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA), OR Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Child Protection Training ( Identify and Respond to Children at Risk )
- Current Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting qualification
- Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Current :Police Check

Essential Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Nominated Supervisor position in an Early Childhood Service or Minimum 4 years’ experience in a leadership position in an Early Childhood Service
- Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedures, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, team leadership and management of staff.
- Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
- Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Law and Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place Framework, National Law and Regulations
- Some knowledge of Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy) preferable but not essential

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated leader and committed to a career in early childhood education and care. You will have the responsibility to co ordinate day-to-day operational tasks and oversee and guide educators in their role.

- demonstrate strong leadership skills in education and management to effectively manage a large team
- contribute positively and effectively to the team environment within the organisation to ensure smooth operation of the service
- promote a healthy team environment and develop positive channels of communication to foster a cohesive team environment where educators and staff feel supported and valued
- participate in ongoing professional development and training programs and support staff to undertake further professional development in conjunction with the Educational Leader
- provide feedback to educators and staff regarding their conduct and work practices whilst creating a supportive workplace environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
