**About The Baik Yang Presbyterian Church**
The Baik Yang Presbyterian Church is part of the Kosin Presbyterian Korean Church Oceania. There are a number of associated churches in both New Zealand and Australia. We serve mainly a Korean Community in Western Australia as we are based in Cockburn Central.
As the church is a gathering of the people called upon by the Lord Jesus Christ as in the past, present, and future, we teach the words of God and guide them according to the holy scripture thereby bringing up faith and belief in the Lord and to follow his command by spreading the words of gospel throughout the nation and to the end of the earth.
**What we are looking for**
We’re looking for a full-time Pastor to start early in December 2024.
Pastor’s roles are as below, not limited to
- Bible study for all adult and young adult groups on Friday and Saturday
- Conducting the Communion service by cell groups
- Korean language school on every Tuesday during school days
- Kids play group on every Thursday during school days
- Conduct morning prayer
- Lead praise before every service on Sunday and Thursday
- Working day: Tuesday to Sunday
- Working hour: 9 to 5, flexible
**The successful applicant will**
- Be ordained by the Kosin Presbyterian Korean Church Oceania
- Have served in the associated churches or denomination for at least 10 years in a similar role
- Demonstrate a lifestyle anchored in prayer and the knowledge of God’s word
- Be a team player in order to collaborate with other pastors and team leaders
- Have a passion for the discipleship of children and young families and is willing to be part of their life of faith
- Understand and be able to engage parents as vital partners in their children's spiritual growth.
- Be capable of teaching and equipping children in both large group settings and smaller gatherings.
- Exhibit a positive work ethic and is a good communicator in both English and Korean.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
