**About the role**

The** Commercial Specialist **provides specialist legal, commercial, procurement and administrative support to Babcock Australasia Business Units and Corporate Functions, including the Executive Management Team.

You will provide assistance with commercial contracts, company secretary, project activities, business governance and compliance and initiatives that will all help to improve policies, processes and performance.

Responsibilities could include:

- Support with managing customers and suppliers. Undertake due diligence investigations (customer and supplier relationships) and administer onboarding activities.
- Assistance with commercial aspects of bids and tenders.
- Preparation and review of contractual templates and variations.
- Assistance with insurance queries, amendments, renewals and claims.

You will bring a wealth of experience and exposure in a fast paced environment**, **preferably within** **commercial, legal, subcontracts and/or procurement. As well as holding a degree qualification within those fields.

You are someone who works towards accuracy of outputs with strong attention to detail. You are able to earn respect by actions and have the ability to communicate confidently and clearly, with those you engage with both internally and externally.
