An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the **Total Tools **team as a** Category Manager**, working at our National Support Office in Port Melbourne. This position will suit a detail orientated professional, with the ability to problem-solve and build lasting relationships.

You will drive category strategy, manage effective supplier relations, and identify new product opportunities. You will participate in regular category reviews to ensure the category plan continues to maximise profitability and achieve private brand penetration. You will regularly review competitor trends, activity, and pricing, and collaborate with the wider Merchandise team to secure products and meet the category business plans.

If you are passionate about retail and tools and would like an opportunity to immerse yourself in product and range development in the tools and trade industry, this is the role for you.

**What will you be doing?**
- Maximising profitability and building brand penetration within your Category
- Undertaking regular category reviews to ensure the category’s success
- Coordinating product and pricing maintenance for promotional campaigns
- Assisting product selection and attending supplier meetings
- Managing data integrity
- Providing generalist support relating to promotions and marketing

**Does this sound like you?**
- Proven experience as a Category Manager, ideally in Retail
- Ability to multitask and re-prioritise day-to-day priorities within a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong computer literacy
- Commerce degree or equivalent will be highly regarded, but is not essential
