**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Project Producerwill collaborate closely with Senior Managers and RR team members to develop, plan, produce and deliver a range of RR projects nationally, with a focus on Poetry Month (1-31 August). Underpinning this role is effective communication, a collaborative spirit and flexible working style, relationship and database management as well as meaningful community and partner engagement.

The opportunity will suit a creative self-starter with proven producer experience within Australian arts and culture sector. They will have initiative, creative problem-solving, passion for poetry, literature and creative learning, excellent communication skills, and be a dedicated individual with a passion for project delivery and ideally with existing community relationships.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**

**Reporting to the Director and Senior Managers you will**:
**Strategic Planning and Reporting**
- Collaborate with the Director and Senior Project Manager to develop and implement RR’s 2020-25 strategic vision as leading poetic organisation in Australia, ensuring RR remains at the forefront of literary and creative industry

**Project Producing**
- Work closely with Directors and Project Managers to develop, support, implement and evaluate a suite of major projects with a cross-section of stakeholders, focusing on Poetry Month (1-31 August)
- Maintain master calendar and processes for projects, events, workshops, partnerships and reporting
- Support management of relevant budgets, contractors, invoicing, receipts, reporting, funding proposals and acquittals as required
- Ensure timely collation of all commissioned assets including contracts, poems, artist bios and photos, audio and video recordings
- Manage relevant marketing where requested including program and web copy, festival, event and artist liaison, sales, commissions, payments to artists and payments from buyers
- Supervise planning of events, scheduling and catering as requested
- Manage and support artists and events on the ground as necessary as well as partnered events (both physical and digital)

**Staff**
- Set work plan priorities and oversee work-flow of with relevant team members
- Coordination of administrative and project timelines to ensure that deadlines and deliverables are met
- Manage the coordination of volunteers as applicable
- Ability to work in ways that are collaborative, responsive and professional as well as maintaining initiative and focus when working remotely and independently

**General**
- Ensure the artistic essence of RR is woven into all poetic projects and communications while contributing to a positive working environment for staff, attending weekly team meetings, project and external meetings as required
- Maintain and develop connections with poetic communities, partners and supporters across Australia, ensuring genuine diversity in commissioned poets, projects and engaged communities as well as reporting

**Essential**
- Passion for poetry and connection with literary community
- 3 years industry experience in arts and cultural organisations or similar producer roles
- Drivers licence, access to vehicle and willingness to travel for events as needed

**Desirable**
- Experience with CRM (Hubspot or similar)
