Excellent opportunity for Health, Safety & Environment Manager in South Australia.

The HSE Manager will have overall responsibility for assisting and advising all Flexible Generation Assets personnel and contractors on implementing best HSE practices and aiding in achieving the highest level of HSE performance.

The role is accountable to the General Manager - SA Assets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Revision and updating Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems for all Operating Flex Gen Assets.
- Liaise/interface with State & Federal Regulators.
- Ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory and licence obligations for all Operating Assets.
- Prepare, review and update H&S Policies and procedures in compliance with Head Office guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Management of Operating Assets H&S matters, including, monitoring, reporting, performance analysis, strategic direction and policy recommendations.
- Monitor and review performance against HSE KPIs, and patterns of behaviour within the area of responsibility; Take action to improve performance and to resolve non-compliance with the organization's HSE policies, procedures and mandatory instructions.
- Implement the formal HSE development framework for Operational Assets, with guidance from senior colleagues and ENGIE ANZ HSE Manager. Provide informal coaching to others throughout the organization in area of expertise.
- Organise and perform audits, including external and contractor audits.
- Support and implement ENGIE group safety initiatives and ensure compliance in the operating assets.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have sound experience in On-site Contractor management, including establishment and administration of site safety management systems, with depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and standards including auditing experience and a thorough understanding of Australian and applicable International Standards affecting the power generation or associated industries.

You will be experienced in investigating and reporting safety incidents.

You are highly organised with excellent project management and effective communication skills. You have the ability to collaboratively work with and balance multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive outcome.

You will also have the ability to work under pressure and to demanding timelines and adapt quickly to change.
