**Finance Support Officer, Temporary Opportunity for 12 months, Sydney Location with hybrid working**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Support Officer to join the Operations Procurement Team within DCS NSW.

The Department of Customer Service is transforming the way NSW Government agencies interact with customers. Customer Service is a service provider and regulator, focusing on delivering first-class customer service, digital transformation and regulatory reform to create better outcomes for the people of NSW.

**As a Finance Support Officer you will be responsible for**:

- Debt recovery of high volume and low value invoices and engaging third party to refer high risk debts.
- Migrating revenue data from Lifelink to financial systems and ensure accuracy of Revenue data in financial system (SAP).
- Daily reconciliation and processing journals involving high volume merchant transaction for NSW Registry of Birth Deaths & Marriages.
- Provide high administrative support to internal and external stakeholder to facilitate information flow and inform decision making.
- Provide customer service, guidance, assistance and advice to both BDM businesses and finance team on matter relating to revenue and debtors.
- Update and maintain records and databases, in accordance with administrative systems requirements and limitations.
- Review systems, processes and contribute to the development and implementation of

process improvements.

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- The ability to ensure the integrity of financial information provided to stakeholders while complying with organisational and divisional objectives.
- The ability to prioritise workloads in a fast and dynamic environment to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
- The ability to maintain current knowledge of policies and procedures while providing ahigh level of support in a changing political environment.

Salary Clerk Grade 3/4, with the base salary for this role starting at $75,992 base plus superannuation
