**About the role**

We are searching for a highly skilled and motivated Trades Assistant to join our dynamic team. The key focus of this role is to support our Workshop team to ensure the day-to-day operation runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is a permanent, full-time position commencing at 7am.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Minor repairs and maintenance
- Ordering and picking up parts / stock
- Stock control
- General administration
- Maintaining accurate stock records and database
- Assisting with Ad Hoc duties
- Experience in a similar trade role
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Certificate or qualification in Automotive Technology or Automotive Mechanical Diagnostics is desirable (not essential)
- Heavy Rigid Truck Licence is desirable (not essential)
- Construction Whita Card is desirable (not essential)
- Mechanically minded with experience hand and power tools
- Ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to pass an employment medical, drug and alcohol test
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word & Excel)
