**About the role**:
Our client is looking for a suitably experienced Logistics/Procurement Support Officer to procure parts and manage the sustainability and delivery of Spares and Rotable for the Operational Networks.

The initial focus will be through the development of long-term support agreements for current operational networks. The selected officer will work alongside staff providing procurement support and procuring inventory in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules. The contracted role is on a full-time basis (5) days per week during the contract period to assist in providing co-ordination and delivery support to Operations and to assist with ongoing project deliverables.

**Duties**
- To provide procurement co-ordination and delivery support to Operations Team and to assist with ongoing project deliverables.
- Liaise with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to gather procurement requirements, coordinate funding and prioritise workloads.
- Prepare and official (Delegate) approvals of orders and contracts, including purchase order documentation.
- Assist with the coordination of assets, including obtaining quotes and invoicing, through to asset disposal.
- Perform other related administration and support duties as directed.

**Required experience/skills**
- High interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)

**Desirable experience/skills**
- Understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules
- Qualifications or experience applicable to Procurement
- Qualifications or experience applicable to SAP EBS
- Qualifications or experience applicable to IBM Maximo Asset Management
- Qualifications or experience applicable to Inventory management
