**About the role**

Geo Oceans is seeking a Hull Tank and Subsea Inspection Engineer/3.4U to support the operations team in delivery of project planning, coordination and on-site deliverables.

Responsible for offshore inspection and inspection planning for clients mitigation and maintenance strategies when applicable onboard oil & gas assets, and supporting the design and development of emerging subsea technologies to enhance the operability of subsea ROV inspections.

Position will require work in remote and regional Australia and/or offshore environments.

In addition to your salary, site uplift will be applicable when working in remote Australia and/or offshore.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist with planning integrity inspection, mitigation and monitoring requirements of both Class and Subsea requirements in accordance with client operations;
- Experience with an anomaly based tracking systems; Coabis, Nexus, Visual Soft.
- Contribute to risk-based Inspection programmes for class and subsea when required;
- Management of inspection data within reporting systems;
- Inspection and reporting of Class requirements;
- Conduct NDT inspections as required;
- Preparation of project deliverables including, but not limited to:

- Scope of Work Trackers
- Inspection workpacks
- Technical inspection reports

**Skills and experience**
- Minimum 10 years’ experience conducting subsea and hull tank inspection campaigns;
- Experience in specialised inspection services, asset integrity, corrosion control and Risk Based Inspection planning;
- Competent with systems and software (preferrable with Coabis and Digital Edge);
- CSWIP 3.4u Subsea Inspection Coordinator;
- Rope Access IRATA Level 3;
- Engineering Degree qualified in a related field is highly desirable;
- Working at heights;
- Working in confined spaces;
- Gas Test Atmospheres;
- MSIC;
- BOSIET/FOET;
- CA-EBS;
- Coabis Certified (desirable but not essential).
