Design Office Admin

We an Interior Design Practice looking for an OFFICE ADMIN to join and support our team. Ideally you will have had a background in Interior design and are looking for an ADMIN role.
We have been in the industry for over 30 years, specializing in Retail & Hospitality Design with a well established client base and an amazing range of projects. We are a small driven creative team with a wealth of knowledge and a supportive office culture.
Located in the heart of Summer Hill and a 5 min walk to the station.. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Monday to Friday - 5 hours a day.
Qualifications & experience
- 2-3 years admin in a similar role.
- Experienced user of MS Word, Excell and Outlook. MYOB experience preferred but not a must.
- Extremely well organized and efficient with a positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of BCA and related building regulations + a good understanding of how to read construction drawings
Tasks & Responsibilities : Admin Duties to facilitate in the optimal/smooth functioning of the office:
- Preparation and maintenance of quotes, orders, invoices, spreadsheets, job files and RFI's
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, external designers, external IT, in house bookkeeper + chase debtors
- Office reception _ Answering calls, meet and greet, filing, ordering stationary/supplies, petty cash, mail + office tidy
- Work closely with in house designers and directors + build client relationships
- You will be speaking to clients as well as coordinating and liaising with various consultants and need to demonstrate excellent communication + organizational skills and establish positive relationships with people
- General office duties
