Our client has an opportunity for a Production Planner to join their team.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and ideally has had previous experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.


The Role:

  • Manage the daytoday production planning and accurate updating of the SAP system
  • Ensure manufacturing resources are effectively utilised
  • Analysis of orders to prioritize, plan and schedule appropriate materials.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert advice in the day to day management of production schedule
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure transparency and visibility throughout the planning process
  • Prepare weekly summary report to capture performance and material availability
  • Identify and make improvements to achieve best practice in the planning area
  • Producing production report for Production Supervisor to successfully execute the production schedule
  • Previous experience working as a production planner in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Broad knowledge of production planning processes
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications would be highly regarded but not essential
  • Advanced problemsolving skills and the ability to work through and solve problems whilst juggling a number of production planning tasks at the one time
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written & verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Have the ability to coordinate people and production activities efficiently and effectively with the goal of exceeding daily, weekly and monthly KPI targets.


 Intermediate
  • Advanced computer skills, Proficiency with ERP systems
  • Understanding of GMP and TGA Guidelines
