An exciting position for an Orientation Coordinator has become available at Swinburne University of Technology

The Orientation Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of orientation activities for the university’s main intakes in higher education, vocational education, and Swinburne College. The Orientation Coordinator will lead the delivery of best practices and integrated orientation experience to connect incoming students with peers, teachers, and communities within Swinburne University.

Part of the role will also entail reporting on and evaluating orientation activities and establishing comprehensive students and stakeholder feedback processes to best assess the effectiveness of Swinburne orientation activities.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills to be efficient in this role.

**About You**
**To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities**:

- Demonstrated experience in managing large scale and complex events with multiple stakeholders
- Highly developed interpersonal, customer service and conflict resolution skills, including the ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, staff and students from different levels within the organisation
- Flexible and self-sufficient, with the ability to effectively navigate unexpected situations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to create solutions to diverse and complex operational challenges

**Qualifications**
- A bachelor degree level qualification in a relevant discipline with at least 4 years of subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
